Yachad Program
A hallmark of a good educational institution is its flexibility. In order to provide a meaningful, successful educational program to the widest possible spectrum of students, the TBH Religious School is pleased to offer the Yachad (together) program for students with specialized individual needs. Instruction will be tailored to meet the individual strengths and learning styles of each student. Yachad students will be integrated as much as possible into regular classes and the enrichment programs of the Religious School, and participate in their grade level conclave.
Madrichim - Teacher Assistants
Students going into the 8th grade or higher have the opportunity of becoming Madrichim (Assistant Teachers). Students who have never been a madrich (T.A.) will first participate in a fun program where they will be learning what it takes to be an Assistant Teacher, as well as work on personal and team growth skills. Students who successfully complete the madrichim program will be qualified and encouraged to apply for a paid madrich position in a classroom the next school year. If a student has already completed the program, they may contact the Religious School office to find out what madrich positions are available. All students who participate in the madrichim program or assist in the classrooms must be enrolled in our Wednesday evening classes, Hebrew High or Jewish Day School. Madrichim will be required to participate in four training classes throughout the year (dates and times will be announced).

ADULT EDUCATION
Learning is a life-long endeavor. The
questions and interests may change as people become adults, but
according to the wisdom of our tradition, the process remains the
same. Therefore, our school offers opportunities for Jewish learning
for adults as well. Some classes conveniently meet during Religious
School on Sundays and during the evening on a weeknight. A separate
course catalogue is available describing class options.
