Youth Programs
Temple
Beth Hillel youth groups enable our students to work together, build
character and confidence and develop their individual potential
in an exciting format. These youth programs offer age-appropriate
opportunities such as trips, sports, social action, games, art,
drama, music and free discussion. Examples of programs include ice
cream socials, bowling, amusement park trips, Build-a-Bear for children
in need, Shabbat retreat weekends, Havdalah celebrations, kippot
creation and Tzedekah.
Club 23
This sneak peak at the youth group world
gives second and third graders a chance to socialize with other
Jewish children outside the classroom. Participants engage in social
action projects, learn about the Jewish holidays in different ways
and enjoy Judaism through the arts.

Cub Scout Pack 311
Cub Scouting activities (boys, 1st-5th
grade) involve the parents, adult leaders and friends of Cub Scouts
in a home-centered program that teaches life skills, habits, values
and attitudes consistent with the interests of Temple Beth Hillel.
Cub Scout activities encourage character development, physical coordination,
family unity and enthusiasm for learning. Traditional Scouting activities
include Pinewood Derbies, camping trips, hiking and other interesting,
fun outings. Through the local Council's Jewish Committee on Scouting,
our Cub Scouts also earn religious emblems they wear on their uniforms
and may attend an annual Kinnus (Jewish Scouting's Religious Retreat)
among other Jewish-oriented events.
