Maureen joined the Temple Beth Hillel team in November of 2021, the day after completing the Los Angeles Marathon. A graduate of Pepperdine University School of Law, she began her career as an attorney, licensed here in California. After several years of practicing in law firms in Los Angeles and volunteering at the California Department of Justice, Maureen transitioned into working in synagogues. She worked as Executive Director of Adat Shalom, a Conservative synagogue in West Los Angeles and then at Temple Aliyah in Woodland Hills. Maureen earned her Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Irvine Division of Continuing Education in 2023.

Before becoming a professional in the Jewish community, Maureen was very involved as a volunteer at Valley Beth Shalom and the Harold M.
