Falling on Our Faces: Awe, Fear, Supplication with rabbinic intern Julia Knobloch

Each session will explore different passages from the Torah where characters "fall on their faces" as an expression of reverence to God, be it in awe, fear, or supplication - and sometimes in a mix of all of these. 

Together with rabbinic intern Julia Knobloch we'll delve deeper into the Biblical concept of "Nefilat Apayim" and discuss how we relate to such an expression of visceral emotion today, especially as we prepare ourselves for the High Holy Days.
