What is Mishloach Manot?
Mishloach Manot means to send gifts. Traditionally, we send gifts of food to family, friends, and neighbors for the holiday of Purim.

Why do we send Mishloach Manot?
It's a mitzvah! The Book of Esther tells us to observe the holiday with feasting and sending gifts to one another (Esther 9:22). Purim is also a time of giving, especially to those in need. Sending Mishloach Manot ensures that everyone has enough to enjoy Purim and brings us closer together as a community.

What's in Mishloach Manot?
Mishloach Manot traditionally includes as least two types of ready-to-eat food items and one of these is usually delicious hamentaschen! This year, our "Peace, Love & Purim" will include a useful but cute item packed with hamentaschen and treats!

Sounds great! How can I participate in Mishloach Manot this year?
This year TBH will be delivering Mishloach Manot to all of our members, either in person or through our schools. You help support us by sponsoring Mishloach Manot and offsetting the cost, or you can volunteer to deliver the week before Purim by sending an email and letting us know!

Your name will be included in every gift and featured in emails and on our website.

  • Hamentaschen Sponsor ($72) - Send mishloach manot to our full staff, including teachers & clergy!
