It is customary to sound the shofar in the 30-day period prior to Rosh HaShanah, please join us every Friday night in Elul to hear the sound of the shofar.

  • SOUNDING OF THE SHOFAR
    It is customary to sound the shofar during the 30-day period prior to Rosh HaShanah to remind us to prepare for thei High Holy Days. Please join us as we sound the shofar every Friday night during the month of Elul:  August 29, September 5, 12, 19.

  • SLICHOT UNDER THE STARS
    Saturday, September 13
    7:00 pm -  Explore the themes of teshuva and forgiveness through the lens of modern media—film, television, and music—discovering how ancient Jewish wisdom speaks to the stories we tell today.
    8:15 pm- Wine & cheese on the upper yard.
    8:30 pm - Havdalah & Selichot with Rabbi Hronsky, Rabbi Stein, and Erev Cantor Paskil.

    8:45 AM - Tot Service with Rabbis Hronsky & Stein and Erev Cantor Paskil.
    10:30 AM - Rosh Hashanah morning services in the Bauman Sanctuary with Rabbis Hronsky & Stein, Erev Cantor Paskil, and the TBH Adult Choir.
    Child care for ages 2 through 12 is provided free for members of TBH. Kids age 6 through 12 will enjoy activities and a short service and then join their parents for the final Shofar Service.
    Join us after services for a festive oneg on the upper yard! Make sure to register for child care early!
  • SHABBAT SHUVAH SOUND BATH
    Saturday, September 27 - 10:00 AM Come together at TBH for a spiritual cleansing, meditative, and heart-opening experience of a sound bath in the Feldman Horn Mercaz (bring a yoga mat or towel). This event is free for TBH Members and $25 for nonmembers.

    Saturday, September 27 - 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM at Zuma beach, Tower 4.
    Come as early as 3:30 for a picnic, volleyball, and fun at the beach!

    8:45 am - Tot & Young Children (birth through age 6) service in the Bauman Sanctuary. TBH Members can sign their children (ages 2 through 4th grade) for complimentary child care during the Main Service.
    10:00 am - Yom Kippur morning services in the Bauman Sanctuary with Rabbis Hronsky & Stein, Erev Cantor Paskil, and the TBH Adult Choir.
    12:30 pm-1:20 pm -Text study with Rabbi Jim Kaufman in the Kaufman Beit Midrash
    1:00 pm - Family Service (for elementary-aged families) with Rabbis Hronsky & Stein, Erev Cantor Paskil and our HRTY Youth Group Board
    2:00 pm - 12 Step Meeting & Service

    Sunday, October 5 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at Camp Bob Waldorf in Glendale. Join us for a day of fun! A short Sukkot service, archery, rock wall climbing, paint ball target practice, and fun Sukkot crafts and activities. Current TBH Religious School students are free when accompanied by an adult.
